Maserati

Group Project

Maserati, started by the Maserati brothers; Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ettore, and Ernesto Maserati in 1926. They started out as all good exotic car manufactureres do, making race cars, the first of which was the Targa Florio driven by Alfieri. Their headquarters was relocated to Modena Italy, when they were bought out by the company Orsi, where they gained more racing success in European races, as well as in the Indianapolis 500 in the legendary 8CTF. The second world war stopped production. Shortly after the war in 1957, Maserati retired from racing but continued to build road cars. They still do this today.
