Founded by the Dodge brothers, Dodge started in a machine shop in the early 1900's. What started as part suppliers for Detroit companies like ford, eventually grew to an automobile manufacturer in 1914, predating Chrysler. they started out making trucks and full-sized sedans, but made their first performance car in 1963, the Dart. And later, the legendary charger in 65.
