Do you have multiple sections of the same course? Managing sections is easier than ever with Canvas!
Key Takeaways:
The single 'course card' on your Canvas Dashboard contains ALL sections for that course! You will not see multiple course cards, nor section numbers on your Dashboard.
You can differentiate due dates/availability dates for assignments easily! Use the 'Assign To' section of the Assignment settings.
You can view which student is in which section by looking at the 'Section' column of the people tab.
You can filter your gradebook to view one section at a time. Click View > Filters > Sections
