My name is Jasmin Budmiger and I live in the centre of Switzerland. I love being creative and exchanging ideas with other students from all over the world. That's why I decided to participate in the Summer School 2021. Under the project "Circular Design", I came up with so many different ideas that I chose this project. Furthermore, I am very interested in the topic of design. I can recommend the Summer School project to anyone who wants to exchange ideas with other students. I also find it a very good opportunity to actively work for the future and our planet.

I am Cynthia, I am 21 years old and I live in France. I'm currently in an engineering programme in Food and Health, we are made aware of sustainable development in most of our courses. This is an aspect that we always have to keep in mind, I chose this Circular design program, partly to discover how to carry out a project that is related to the environment, without necessarily having a direct link with my studies. It's also an opportunity to discover different cultures and to work with people who without this programme would not have been possible.

Hey my name is Julia Kraft and i am 20 years old. I live in Germany and study Media & Interaction Design in Osnabrück. Also I love to meet new people and travel around the world. I decided to participate the summer university 2021 in sweden, because i want to improve my english skills, learn more about other cultures and learn more about sustainability.

My name is Hedda Lindström and I am turning 23 this year. I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Two years ago I moved to Sundsvall to study Graphic design at Mittuniversitetet (Mid university.) Mittuniversitetet has a great focus on sustainability which interests me a lot. I like to learn about different cultures, so this international course seemed like a perfect fit for me.

Hi I am Teun, 22 years old, and born and raised in The Netherlands. After I saw that the University of Applied Science in Amsterdam offered summer schools I got interested. It has always been a goal of mine to study abroad, so this looked like a great opportunity. Sustainability has always been a part of my life. Especially because my family have opinions about global warming I don’t align with. I also have a lot of friends who are vegan that sometimes act extreme. So to better understand what is happening in the world, and also my friends and families mind, I thought that it would be a great idea to learn about it. Right now I am in Sweden and it seems like I made the right choice.
