This is an educational app that can be used either as the app or through a website. Students are given a flipcode and are asked to respond to a question posed by the teacher. However, their answers are neither typed nor hand written. They are recorded videos that are sent onto a board to be seen by the teacher and their classmates. I would recommend this app for any grade but it may be easier for the upper elementary grades to navigate.

Kahoot is a game-based learning platform used by teachers to evaluate students understanding. This can be used in any grade level in any subject. Teachers can set up a kahoot challenge and use it as a formative assessment tool.
Padlet is a web app that lets users post notes on a digital wall. A teacher can post a question or discussion topic and the students create their own response and "hang" it up like a sticky note. Students can comment on peer posts and share ideas. I think this app would work best in upper elementary (3rd-6th grade). The video above gives 10 ways to use Padlet in the classroom.
Google Drive is a great resource to have and use in the classroom. Through google drive not only can students share their work but teachers can also share things with students. I would recomend this fo grades 3 and up becasue this is when they begin to produce longer writing pieces. Through Google Drive students can access documents, spreadsheets, slides, website creation and many more.

Google Classroom is beginning to become more and more useful for teacher especially now during remote learning and hybrid learning. This allows teacher to assign things to students connected to many different programs and softwares used in schools today like wonders, Lexia, ST math and many more.
This can be accessed through the app or website and is connected to gmail and google drive.
DoInk is a greenscreen application that can be used in a variety of ways in a classroom to create videos. Using the app allows you to record and change the background to anything you'd like. Teachers use this for instructional videos and students can use it to create videos for a project. This can be used for a variety of grades with instruction and support.
This app is $2.99.
iMovie is an IOS app that allows you to create a video by either using one of their template or creating your own using video clips or pictures. This app can be used for any grade. Some things it can be fun to use for may be book reviews, book reports, reports on weather or even introduction videos on themselves. This app also allows the use of greenscreen.
PBS kids har 2 apps; PBS Kids Video and Play and Learn Science in addition to their website. These three platforms are better suited for the younger grades like kindergarten through 2nd grade. Students are able to play educational games that teach them a variety of topics. This resource provides students with a fun and engaging way to learn.

Xtra Math is a program that allows students to quickly practice their math facts. This can be used as morning work as the students come in they can easily log on and work on their math fluency. This can be used for any grade I think it'd be best for 2nd -5th grade.
Wonders is a great reading and writing program that would need to be adopted by your school. It offers many different ways to engage students in reading with writing prompts and discussion questions to go along with each story. This also has educational games that are leveled to the students reading level.
GoNoodle is a fun, engaging platform that allows students to get their wiggles out and become more engaged and interested in their learning. This website not only has fun brain break activities but it also has songs and dances to go along with some teaching topics.
This app can be good for all grades but more geared to the younger grades. (1st-3rd)
Remind is an app that allows users to send reminders to students or parents. This app also allows teachers to share photos throughout the day with parents. This app can be used for homework, test or assignment reminders as well as notification about grades or cancellations. It is a great way to stay in touch with parents and students. This app also allows notifications to be sent directly to phones and allows for constant communication between parents and teachers.

Class dojo is an app and online resource that teachers can use to build community in their classroom along with communicate with parents. This resource has a behavior reward system that helps build community in the classroom by rewarding hardwork, teamwork, and communication. This resource can be used as an app or a website and both are free.
Quizlet is a great resource and can be used in an app format or online website. The app has quizzes made by the teacher to test students on anything from vocabulary to open response questions. It also allows students and teachers to create and study flash cards. I think it would be very helpful for math facts and vocabulary words.

This is geared towards the younger grades like kindergarten and 1st grade. This allows students to explore and learn about a variety of topics. This resource is interactive and it can be used in a variety of ways. It can be used during station rotation, during free time or even when students finish their work early.
The app is free and teachers can pay for an online subscription.
TED Talks are a great resource for students of all grade levels. There are so many different videos that help get students engaged and thinking about a variety of topics. The video below is one of my favorite TED talks that I didn't see until college.
IXL is a learning platform for all content areas. It allows students to practice skills they have learned in class on an online app. This app can be used in any grade and is great for station rotation.

TuxPaint is an app or software that can be used in a variety of ways. Students can use the software to draw and create illustrations to go along with a writing piece or even create a habitat for a specific animal they have researched. This software is great for students of all ages and grade levels.
Garageband is an app made for IOS devices that can be used to create, record or play music. This app is great for any music class especially if the class doesn't have access to instrument. This app allows students to chose from a variety of instruments and create and record their own music. I would recommend this app for upper elementary when students understand and have learned about notes and how to create a simple song.
Discovery Education is a learning platform that gives teachers access to a number of different science topics, videos, interactive games and even articles to share with students. This platform allows teachers to create more engaging lessons and to integrate the use of technology as well. This is great for all grade levels when teaching science.
Splash Math is a personalized program that intelligently adapts to the way each student learns in order to help each student master key math skills. Splash Math covers all topics from Kindergarten through Grade 5 and is aligned to the curriculum.
Lexia's research-proven program provides explicit, systematic, personalized learning in the six areas of reading instruction, targeting skill gaps as they emerge, and providing teachers with the data and student-specific resources they need for individual or small-group instruction. This program is great for students of all grade levels and can be used during station rotation.
FASTT Math is a mathematics intervention program that uses the FASTT (Fluency and Automaticity Through Systematic Teaching with Technology) system to help students develop fluency with basic math facts. FASTT Math leads students through a linear path of instruction and assessment. This is great for students in grades 2-5 and could best be used during station rotation.
This program is created for grades PreK-8. ST Math’s unique, patented approach provides students with equitable access to learning through challenging puzzles, non-routine problem solving, and informative feedback. With ST Math, students build deep conceptual understanding, and schools see proven, repeatable results. This program can be used during station rotation for extra math practice as well as incorporated into lessons.
Google Earth allows students to see the world in a 3D model. As you zoom in and out and move the globe around students can see everything from Africa to their school and their homes. This gives students the opportunity to see the world from a different prospective and understand what the world really looks like.
