Here at Tech Help, we provide free-of-charge services to patrons on general technology questions. Prioritizing a relations-focused approach, we want to ensure that technology questions are answered while recognizing that everyone is a beginner that is looking to gain some insight on the world of technology. Tech Help focuses on providing simple I.T. services and provides referrals to local public services offered in King County, WA.
Our primary service location is at the Greater Maple Valley Community Center in Maple Valley, WA.
We are located at the Main Hall, from June 26, 2026 - August 21, 2026, every Friday at 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM [PST].
* Note that the Technology Programs Tech Help program works in collaboration with the Teen Tech Help program at the Greater Maple Valley Community Center. Both are separate programs through separate entities. Each service is offered free of charge for the community.
Some questions we get asked commonly are:
How do I install an app on my phone?
My text messages aren't appearing at all?
How do I know whether something is a scam or not?
How would I be able to scan or print documents?
* Note that services like Computer Hardware repairs and topic-sensitive questions are not eligible for Tech Help. All questions are determined by the technician's discretion. Based on the location of Tech Help, some questions may not be answered per policies of the organization where the service is offered.
