Deleting Autofill Website in Chrome

Start typing in a website’s address. When your browser begins to auto-populate the wrong address in Chrome’s address bar, hold down Shift and Function (fn) on a Mac and tap the Delete key. Once you see a website highlighted, you can also tap the up and down arrows on your keyboard to pull up any proposed result to delete it. It’s as easy as that—and a lot more convenient than clearing your entire history.

Sharing a "Force Copy" Document

Have you ever wanted to share a Google Doc (or Slide, or Sheet) with someone but wanted them to have their own copy? Google only gives you four option. Edit access, View Only, Comment, or No Access. However, if you simply replace the end of the URL (edit?usp=sharing) with (copy) whoever you send the link to will now see this.

This method is best for sending documents rather than sharing them. Sharing means co-ownership at some level, where two parties have access to the same file. Use this trick the next time you want to send a project sheet to student or when you share a slideshow that you don’t plan to continue to work on.
