USF, or the University of Scientists and Futurists, was founded in Ancient Rome by three close friends. Cassius Gaius, Aggripa Quintus, and Marcellus Tiberius were some of the brightest minds of their time, but they kept their talents hidden. They believed that true knowledge was a gift given to few, and they dedicated their talents to picking and cultivating the brightest minds they could find.

They founded a secret society dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. Knowledge of the earth and the heavens, of mathematics and logic, of chemistry and physics. They slowly added more members and grew over time. In Ancient Rome they flourished, adding more and more members and making groundbreaking discoveries. In Ancient Rome, guests take on the role of a USF member and are able to explore the city and access areas known only to those in the society.

USF survived the fall of Rome, implanting itself into more countries and starting new chapters around the world. However, they began to come under public scrutiny and soon started covering their tracks and preventing the public from discovering them.

By the late 1900s, they had engineered methods of time travel. By 2010 they were navigating the multiverse. The organization is still present today, with connections in prominent universities, legal organizations, and large corporations. With their connections in the multiverse, they even have members in other universes, all contributing to the growth of their collective knowledge and ability.

They have unknown connections in every entity that could possibly help their cause. Agents secretly gather information from every conceivable location, from the C.I.A. to INTERPOL, and even agencies in other realities, such as the Men in Black and S.H.I.E.L.D.

USF has developed amazing technologies, pushed the boundaries of physics, and even navigated the multiverse, all unknown to the public. They are never seen, and they make sure of it.

Prominent members of USF throughout history include the founders (Cassius Gaius, Aggripa Quintus, and Marcellus Tiberius), Amelia Earhardt, Jules Verne, Willy Wonka, Howard Stark, Lon Chaney Sr., and more.
