WE focus on education and serve schools located in high-need urban communities of color. The acronym "W.E." represents "whole education," which refers to an approach to learning that considers the individual needs of each student. This approach prioritizes the academic and social-emotional development of the "whole" student.

Unfortunately, high-need urban school communities with large populations of black and brown students tend to face disproportionate disadvantages related to trauma. Trauma can hinder an individual's capacity to cultivate positive social and emotional abilities, ultimately affecting their optimal learning capabilities. Moreover, educators working in these communities frequently lack accessible tools to address trauma within the educational environment. TEAM WE, inc. strives to bring about a transformation in this situation.
