Taiwan Dance Research Society

「台灣舞蹈研究學會」成立於2002年11月，是一非營利性之社會團體，以提倡舞蹈研究、擴展舞蹈學術領域、強化舞蹈實務與理論的互動、以及促進國際間舞蹈學術交流為其成立宗旨。本學會由臺灣六個舞蹈科系以及一些相關系所的教師群組成，以志工方式協助推動舞蹈研究。  

「台灣舞蹈研究學會」每年辦理國際研討會以及每兩年辦理一次碩博士生之研討會，目的就是透過行動鼓勵舞蹈學術推動與發展。近幾年來更致力於理論與實務的相關研究，藉著學術交流之平台的分享與交流，將臺灣舞蹈研究帶進新紀元。 

Taiwan Dance Research Society (TDRS) was established in November 2002. It is a non-profit social organization whose purpose is to promote dance research, expand the academic field of dance, strengthen the interaction between dance practice and theory, and foster international dance academic exchanges. TDRS is composed of teachers from six dance departments and related institutes in Taiwan, who help promote dance research on a voluntary basis. 

TDRS holds an international conference every year and a seminar for postgraduate and doctoral students every two years. The purpose is to encourage the promotion and development of dance academics through actions. In recent years, TDRS has been committed to related research in theory and practice, and through sharing and communication on the academic exchange platform, it has brought Taiwan dance research into a new era.
