Our seniors in the cadet corps are learning how to command the 30-step drill sequence. The seniors' test to see how they have grown as a leader within themself by commanding a flight of 9 cadets through the full drill sequence.
All junior cadets participate in PT (physical training) every Monday and Friday that their in school. They normally start off with warm-up which include: butt kicks, high knees, jumping jacks, toe touches, and windmills. The cadets are commanded by our five PT leaders; cadet Reid, cadet Vera, cadet McCausland, cadet Crago, and cadet Spina. During their last PT day we gathered some quotes from our PT leaders. Cadet McCausland stated, “At the start of day everyone was messy at first but people came together to finish out good.” Cadet Crago also stated, “People stayed strong throughout the exercises with little to no complains.”
