Majora's Mask

This mask is a replica of the Majoras's Mask from the Nintendo 64 game "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" . I chose to recreate this mask because I wanted to bring the eerie, unsettling comfort that the game captures into reality, and I think I really achieved that. I was drawn to the piercing eyes and how they stand out among-st the darker shades surrounding them. With the evil vengeful spirits of an ancient civilization trapped in this mask, it preys on the emotionally distressed, presenting itself as the last resort and only option with its omnipotent force.If not careful the mask will possess ones body losing all will and becoming a mere puppet to carry put its heinous crimes against humanity. I formed the mask then bisque fired it, painted the glaze on, then glaze fired it.
