Trombone students must be eight years old to enrol and will need to purchase a tutorial workbook relevant to their level. 

If students need to hire a trombone for the year's lessons, they can do so from TSOM for a fee of $200. 

Intermediate trombone players will routinely be invited to join the Taupō Youth Wind Band.
