TASME is planning a series of composition workshops in 2023, which will occur on three occasions during the first half of the year with each at a different location around the state. The workshops will be for students wishing to receive assistance learning how to compose and will provide opportunity to work with a Tasmanian-based composer.
The workshops will also be a superb opportunity for students wishing to submit an application for the 2023 Young Composers Project as part of the 2023 National Conference. By attending the workshops students will be supported with the process of preparing a possible submission. More information about the Young Composers Project may be found here.
The workshops will take place on the following occasions, with exact venues and locations to be advised:
Friday 24 February
Friday 31 March
Friday 12 May.
Students may attend one, two or three of the workshops. However, those wishing to submit a work for the 2023 Young Composer Project would ideally attend all three workshops.
Additional information, including a registration form will be available before the end of this year.
