This is the original finished script draft for my grad film The Fool's Mule, featuring the mom ASHA, who embodies strength and fearlessness, and was my favourite character to write.
Unfortunately, I had to cut her from the shooting script due to casting issues. But Asha will always exist in the core DNA of this film's character dynamics as she is meant to be the final voice of reason who truly challenges her husband's bigotry.

This is a story about a young Punjabi immigrant man who doesn't believe in himself, and ends up betraying the only person who ever encouraged him and his love for poetry. An exploration of South Asian gender dynamics, life as an immigrant in Canada and the pressures of familial expectations, in Sifar, I try to paint an empathetic portrait of GenZ's hidden desires and how we exist in social media spaces.
I wrote this script in the summer of 2024 for a class. It was the first time I was able to challenge myself to tap into the psyche of a character very unlike myself. Despite my best efforts, this film in its original vision, is still unproduced.
I made a proof-of-concept for it in Spring 2025, but I couldn't capture the nuances and themes well due to lack of production resources.
This is ACT 1 and ends with Sifat's introduction to the other main character, and the start of their online friendship!
