My sketchbook is an important part of my practice – it allows me to experiment and work in a stream-of-conciousness manner. Sometimes those ideas bleed into my writing practice and also inform how I build characters, approach editing and even compose shots.

I contibuted this work in an online fundraising raffle for Gaza in 2024 (created by a local community organiser). Many local artists' works were assembled into art bundles, one of which contained a print of this drawing.
