Recipient of the VIVO Distribution award at the Emily Carr University GRAD show 2026, my thesis film is an exercise in character-writing and supporting performances. Shot in the style of a stage play, the film invites the viewer to go on a transformational journey with the characters and question their own biases and where they come from.

An intimate, slice-of-life treatise about three women’s moving stories, one of them being the filmmaker herself. Through candid moments and conversations, the documentary reveals the difficulties of transitions, in different life-stages, under different circumstances. A celebration of female friendships and community, the filmmaker explores how changes can be less scary when you have help, and that it is okay to ask for it.

Experience the acoustic textures of riding an auto-rickshaw/ tuk-tuk in the streets of Mumbai, accompanied by a loud symphony of traffic, honking cars, and whooshing wind.

A journey through the Moberly Park in South Vancouver, weaving together memories and a final farewell in the present, based on my time in this neighbourhood just before I move away. Shot on a regular old DSLR camera, without any extra equipment, crew, or even a tripod, the film hopes to make immersive images that engulf me as the subject, symbolising the comfort and refuge this place offered me for a small speck of time.
