These products were developed, processed, bottled, and labeled entirely by students using equipment at the Electron Beam Center—and they’re now available for purchase to support the Food Science Club! At this time, we are unable to offer shipping for orders. All purchases must be made in person. However, if you or someone you know is unable to pick up the sauce in person, please feel free to reach out to the contacts listed below to discuss the possibility of arranging a hand-delivered order.
Ever wondered how food goes from concept to creation? Come learn about our student-run processing line—a unique, hands-on learning tool built to teach real-world food production, right here at Texas A&M!
This pilot-scale system was designed for students to gain experience in food safety, product development, engineering, and entrepreneurship. It’s used in courses like Food Processing (FSTC 311), Product Development (FSTC 401), and Food Safety (FSTC 324), and it's helped bring two brand-new student-developed BBQ sauces!
If you're interested in learning food science hands-on, gaining industry-relevant experience, or helping develop future products—WE want you on the team because behind every bite, there is a food scientist.
