Takuma KOCHIYAMA has expertise in financial accounting, corporate finance, corporate governance, and corporate law. His research largely focuses on accounting/governance/finance issues in the Japanese economy and particularly investigates the impact of institutional changes including accounting standards, corporate law, or any public business-related policies. His current works cover the following topics: earnings management, managerial ability, corporate governance, and corporate investment/payout policy.
