We are pleased to announce an excellent opportunity for authors. Presenters of high-quality papers are cordially invited to submit an extended, full-length version of their work for publication in a special issue of one of our esteemed partner journals.
Below are the details for each journal, including their scope, submission deadlines, and procedures. Please review the information carefully to select the journal that best fits your research.
International Journal of Modern Physics B (IJMPB)
Aims & Scope:
This journal is dedicated to research on the properties and processes at the boundaries of materials. It covers a wide range of experimental and theoretical studies of surfaces and interfaces, including their physical and chemical properties. Main scopes include catalysis, biomaterials, soft matter, thin films, surface functionalization, and nanostructured surfaces. Key topics include:
Advanced Materials: Surfaces and interfaces of biomaterials, soft matter, semiconductors, nanostructured materials, and low-dimensional systems.
Deposition & Modification: Surface and interface deposition, growth, and modification, including thin-film creation and directed energy deposition techniques.
Physical & Chemical Phenomena: Studies of catalysis (heterogeneous, electro-, photo-), thermodynamic properties, and kinetic processes at interfaces.
Functionalization & Applications: Surface functionalization for applications in energy, environmental, food, and medical fields, including smart materials.
Characterization & Imaging: Advanced characterization, analysis, and imaging techniques for surfaces.
Emerging Topics: Cross-disciplinary research including surface magnetism, topological surface states, and AI in material design.
Important Dates:
The deadline for submission is November 17, 2025.
From November 18–30, 2025, the review process for full-length papers will be carried out. In parallel with the AWMFT & APSTP 2025 conference (November 18–19), the committee will also evaluate the authors’ presentations.
Between December 1–7, 2025, selected authors will be invited to revise their papers based on the reviewers’ comments.
By December 15, 2025, the committee will forward all necessary materials (including the revised papers and corresponding review reports) to the Special Issue Editors of the journal.
Publication Fee: USD $500 per paper.
Submission Method: Via conference submission.
Please submit the two-page short paper via conference email: awmftapstp2025@nkust.edu.tw with the title following:

Journal of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers
Special Issue on "Technology of Plasticity and Micro/Nano Forming"
Aims & Scope:
The object of the Journal of Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers is to serve as a vehicle for the communication of original research results of permanent interest in all fields of mechanical engineering. The Journal especially welcomes papers that are related to recent technological advances. The contributions, which may be analytical, experimental or numerical, should be of significance to the progress of mechanical engineering. The majority of the papers published in the journal are full-length articles of considerable depth. Another important format is the Technical Brief, which is intended to serve as a means for the rapid communication of recent developments in an abridged form.
Important Dates:
Submission Due: January 1, 2026
Revision Due: May 1, 2026
Final Report to Editorial Committee: June 2026
Publication Fee: USD $350 per paper.
Submission Method:
Submissions should be made directly through the Journal of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers submission system.
