Tadika Cherry Montessori Program

Based on our long term observations, research and practices, Tadika Cherry has launched a world recognised traditional Montessori program which places emphasis on children’s spontaneous learning, self-growth in a prepared environment, freedom of choice and easy access and using of Montessori teaching aids under the guidance of qualified Montessori teachers.

We strictly follow the world renowned international Montessori syllabus integrated with some Malaysian topics for the interests of the Malaysian students, amidst the prime international course contents which are suitable for all. Curriculums and course works adhere to the Montessori philosophy and methods. Courses are conducted in English, with Malay and Chinese taught as separate language subjects. This trilingual approach, which will help our students to master three languages simultaneously, is a must for the locals and an added advantage for foreigners.

Types of Education

a) Montessori Education

Montessori education, an excellent alternative to the conventional education, is a form of child development based on the need for freedom within limits and a carefully prepared environment. It helps children to reach their fullest potentials in all areas of life, promoting rapid growth of intelligence in the early years and the possible great influence of the early environment.

Montessori schools are operating worldwide. In USA, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, India, China etc., it is already a main stream of pre-school education. Researchers confirm that across a range of abilities, children at Montessori schools perform very well, and are better prepared for reading and mathematics. They learn languages faster and are more creative in the usage. Other distinct differences are their outstanding social skills and behaviour.

b) Conventional Education

We continue to offer conventional education to students who prefer to learn through the traditional teaching methods. Our conventional education is highly regarded as excellent by parents of our ex and present students. The achievements of our students in Primary schools speaks volume on our education quality year after year.
