This FAQ pertains mostly to my Chaturbate.com ID.
I have two cams:
The one closer to my feet is the highest quality, and is an:
EMEET SmartCam C60E 4K Dual
This is a fun cam, and has a remote, and a Zoom function.
The one closer to me is on a Scissor Arm Stand, that I can move around quite a bit. It is an older cam, but still a great one... it is a:
Logitech HD Webcam C910.
I use both of these cams for public and private broadcasts/video-chats.
My selection process is to go online and see what looks good, read some reviews, especially by reputable sites like PC World, etc. Logitech is a heavily favored brand, but I ahve to say, I've been really pleased by the EMEET cams (I have another one... still getting it set up with a more portable system).
For Audio... I am experimenting with volume... right now it is typically about 60%... feedback is welcome, always. I mostly use the mic on my C910 webcam. ... I also have a "Blue" "Snowball", and occasionally use that. ... I would recommend any of the "Blue" brand microphones.
I have a super fast ISP (see below), and usually use a "Wired LAN" connection between my router and PC.
To improve your broadcast, start with a Speed Test.
Chaturbate has an excellent speed test.
In a recent test there (via a server 450 miles away) I got:
Ping = 18 ms... (Typical)
Jitter = 4 ms... (Typical)
Download = 93.3 Mbps ... (A bit higher than usual)
Upload = 11.1 Mbps ... (Typical)
A SUPER-Fast co-ax Cable feed connection. On a good day an ISP Speed Test returns 460+ Mbps down, and 11+ Mbps up.
I mostly use a wired LAN connection,
but even on WiFi I usually get really good results.
I am currently in the process of upgrading to a Tri-band router.

My ISP service is rated at 300-500 Mbps "Up", 10 "Down".)
Typically... for Standard Definition (SD) streaming, any service at 3+ Mbps is good. This should be suitable for a good broadcast at CB,
Additionally... "For HD streaming 5 Mbps is recommended, and for 4K streaming, or ultra HD, your bandwidth should start at 25 Mbps". ... (ref)

I live in a quasi-desert (Mediterranean) type climate. In Summer it is very dry, with hot days & cool nights. I try and cool my room down at night to save on AC costs, so it gets pretty chilly... plus I just like it.
In winter it can get pretty dang cold here, and I refuse to spend a lot on heating energy (most of the time).
