I wanted to design and print poetry from a current poet. Of course I thought of Amanda Gorman and her powerful inauguration poem, The Hill We Climb. I took a photo of Ms. Gorman and transformed her face into a silhouette, which was then imported into Tinkercad as an .SVG file. I then added a very moving phrase of the poem with Braille.
Feedback has been positive about this project. The silhouette does need some improvements to make the face and head more realistic. Which poet and poem would you like to have as Silhouette poetry next?
