Electrophoresis tray

project summary

The student design team improved the standard design for a gel electrophoresis tray. By a happy accident, the team printed with flexible TPU filament and discovered that it printed excellent. The team designed a very thin yet durable removable wall, combined with the flexible design made it easy to safely maneuver the gel out of the tray.

This project was printed on a Monoprice MP Select Mini 2, illustrating you do not need expensive equipment to create a fantastic functional prototype.
