Project Imosha is a deckbuilding game focused on preparing students for social situations in a corporate setting.
This project was created in collaboration between twelve Columbia College Students, Reach Pathways, and Waking Oni Games.
As the producer of Project Imosha I was responsible for organizing weekly meetings with the team and our creative director.
Every meeting with the creative director was focused on project vision and discussing the current progress of each team. Later, this content would be reviewed during our Friday progress update meeting with the team, where each team member was instructed to update the team on their project progress, share what went well, and what needed to be addressed. After the project presentation, I would review the tasks I assigned to each group, discussing what the completion status would look like as well as what additional resources or assistance they would need to complete these tasks.
In addition to tracking tasks on GitHub, I utilized Spreadsheets to track the project timeline, writing notes on team members' expectations, due dates, and tracking the time from the start of the project in January to its completion in May to successfully prepare a game demo to present to Reach Pathways.
Weekly Progress Updates
As the game's producer, I also met often with the team members to assist them on brainstorming, moodboard, and playtesting sessions. Where I would take notes on the topics discussed to later review with our creative director and team members who weren't able to the attend the meetings.
