Sweet Home Learning Academy provides specialized support for students with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dysgraphia using research-based, multisensory instruction tailored to each child's needs.

Our instruction is grounded in:

Dyslexia Support

Students receiving dyslexia support will receive instruction in:

Instruction is systematic and builds from foundational skills to more advanced reading and spelling skills.

Students are taught using multisensory strategies such as:

Dyscalculia Support

Students receiving dyscalculia support will receive instruction using Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Math strategies including:

• Number sense development
• Math fact fluency
• Place value understanding
• Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Word problem strategies
• Visual math models
• Hands-on math learning

Students learn math through concrete, visual, and conceptual instruction to build deep understanding and reduce math anxiety.

Dysgraphia Support

Students receiving dysgraphia support will receive instruction using Handwriting Without Tears and multisensory writing strategies including:

• Handwriting development
• Letter formation
• Spacing and alignment
• Fine motor development
• Sentence construction
• Written expression

Students are taught using hands-on materials, movement, and structured writing instruction to build strong writing foundations.
