Concept Name: "Heartening Love Letter"
"Don't people have feelings of empathy? Why are there people who only care about their feelings... Nevertheless, the world is still beautiful. As long as there are people who love and sympathies... it's still beautiful."
-Yoake
Yoake is Suyukaz's ninth Art OC to be created, and is not in the priority order (though seemingly tied with Yuki, another Art OC Yoake is usually associated with). She represents Suyukaz's interest for Japanese culture, and slight interest in romantic fiction (specifically Suyukaz's love for the Violet Evergarden series).
Yoake's primary concept is a romantic, peace-loving feline girl with divine association of nature. She despises all warfare, and always questions why violent conflicts happen. Despite that, and Yoake rarely depicted with weapons or in combat, Yoake is not combat incapable, as she can wield many classical Japanese weapons as well as manning early modern Japanese firearms.

Yoake is a catgirl, or nekomusume, with a petite, light-skinned body and golden (formerly blonde) hair. Her front hair is cut in blunt bangs and has two long sidelocks which goes past her shoulders and the rest of her hair is styled in a bob cut. Her eyes are purple, with a light pupil. Her body has much smaller build compared to other Art OCs (and she is noticeably shorter than Lily), but her feminine features remain prominent. She is sometimes depicted having a tail.
Yoake is always depicted wearing a white hood, more often with a dark red inner side. She usually wears a small white kimono or yukata with a blue obi (sash) and a red skirt. She also wears white socks and a pair of zori (Japanese sandals), though this is sometimes swapped with leather shoes.
Yoake does not have a proper combat depiction, though in WW2 lore she is depicted wearing normal Japanese infantry uniform (most often without a skirt or pants due to the size of the shirt below the belt and wearing a school swimwear underneath, this is initially a design accident).
Yoake tends to be calming when alone, but very cheerful and emotional when being social. She has a strong romance complex, interested in the opposite gender (including the male Art OCs), and likes to take and give love advice, despite having no experience of having a lover. She is also very sympathetic towards other life. Yoake has a strong sense of trust and can easily be manipulated, but is quick to realize when she is being used, and panics on how to escape the situation. She is somewhat clumsy and comedic at times, commonly angering Yuki.
Yoake is very peace-loving, and despises all warfare. This makes her a pathetic character, especially when she actually goes to fight in war. She is capable of wielding various Japanese weapons, including some modern Japanese firearms, however she cannot control herself when it comes to actually killing another human. Therefore she resorts herself to self-defense, as suggested by Yuki who therefore becomes the offensive fighter.
Yoake prefers Japanese food over any other foreign dish. She is a surprisingly good cook, knowing how to make rice balls and cook various seafood for sushi. She is very proper and careful when drinking tea, and can notice any peculiarities in her drink.
Yoake has a talent for origami, making plenty kinds of animal origami in her free time. She is also a very good novelist and poetry writer.
Etched into her character concept, Yoake is thoughtful of human rights and freedom around the world.
Yoake is firstly known living near a shrine with a magical pool. Yoake has lived there for an unknown period of time feasting on food left at the shrine (intentionally given to the Kami, or gods) as well as stealing clothes left there. By the time Yuki pulled Yoake out of her hiding spot inside a bush, Yoake already had a seemingly peaceful life, living in a hut behind the shrine and writing poetries and stories as well as taking care of koi fish in a fish pond.
Soon after, Yoake lived with Yuki in the Luftherz family supposedly as an adoptive child, but lives more like Yuki's partner or friend, following her wherever she goes. Yuki once joked in her swordsmanship training session (which Yoake followed her to) where Yoake is supposedly her henchman or helper.
Yoake spent her peaceful life reading romantic novels and writing more poems, soon she took the job of a ghostwriter and mail delivery.

To be added
Yoake's character has many inspirations from other anime characters. Her appearance is originally inspired by Erebus from Azur Lane, her main concept is inspired by Violet Evergarden, and her nature godlike theme and some of her looks are inspired by Senko-san.
Yoake is originally designed to have a reaper-like theme, however her further development as a Japanese character lead to the abandonment of this idea.
