Concept Name: "Contrite Owl"
"Even for us living like this for several decades, we all know this isn't how we're supposed to live. Is freedom not for everyone?"
-Corinett
Corinett is Suyukaz's tenth Art OC to be created and sits in a special priority order. She represents Suyukaz's concern for human rights violations, racism, oppression and other social issues.
Corinett's primary concept is an owl girl who represents victims of human rights crises, discrimination and oppression around the world. She is subject to oppression and racism in lore and her situation mostly corresponds to crisis events happening in real life. She sought for freedom from human rights violations and opposes the war crimes happening upon her land.

Corinett is an owl human girl. She has light skin and long brown hair and long sidelocks which reaches her shoulders. She also has green eyes. In height, she notably shorter than Spook, possibly as high as Lily. Corinett's owl ears had been drawn in two different styles, one based on the owls of Kemono Friends and the other inspired by the style of owl characters in Arknights (the latter style appears more often and is regarded as the canonical).
Her default outfit consists of a maroon coat with a white zip line and yellow wrist edges at the end of the sleeves. The coat also has the flag of Palestine at the sides of the shoulders. Corinett also wears a grey scarf and a grey skirt, with black pantyhose and black shoes.
Corinett is the only art OC never depicted in a combat outfit, as she is technically combat incapable.
Corinett is a timid girl, though not fully mature. She has fragile emotions but this is often covered with a slight poker face at most times. She can however, burst into laughing or cry and bawl, the latter happens more often due to surrounding situations. She often tries her best to keep herself happy despite the dull and miserable environment, and has strong determination and will to survive.
Corinett is socially passive and very approachable, unless she is disturbed. She stands pretty much against violence, often absent in revolutions or violent acts against the Occupiers. Rather, she is more to being friendly and tries to reach agreement, often talking softly and kindly even to enemy soldiers, though they get more annoyed every next time she approaches them. Corinett always tries to be harmless as she sticks to her philosophy, 'treat others the way you want to be treated', and revenge is never a part of her thoughts no matter what happens to her.
Corinett loves to learn languages, and speaks most major languages and is able talk to all other Art OCs in their own local language. Her main hobby is fishing, which later turns into a job as she becomes a fishmonger by the riverside market. Corinett's kindness pleases her customers as well as most of the citizens, making her a well-known figure of the city (aside of being subjected to Occupier abuse).
Despite doing most of the housework such as cooking, Corinett is not a very good cook nor knows a lot about food, due to poor and busy lives meant food is nothing but a need for survival and not something for enjoyment. Being an owl human species, Corinett can get dozy in the day, and can fall asleep at the mosgt unexpected (and sometimes embarrassing) times. She is also seen taking naps at her stall, and puts up a sign that reads "Wake me up for business" every time she does. Corinett loves beautiful scenery (especially clouds), and walks around to enjoy the scenery of her place, creating a paradox within her as her homeland is a center of extreme racism, ethnic cleansing and human rights abuse, but also one of the most beautiful places with magnificent scenery.
Corinett Lore
Corinett has her own special lore in which she is usually depicted. She lives in a fictional city only referred to as "The City", which was illegally occupied by a violent, oppressive and racist military group only known as "the Occupiers". Corinett lives her everyday life of fear in The City as she watches her fellow townspeople getting arrested, harassed and abused by the Occupiers as well as the military carrying out aerial strikes on the city, injuring and sometimes killing numerous lives. Corinett is one of the special targets for the Occupiers as they constantly attack and abuse her from time to time to demoralize her family and the people.
Travel with Spook
One day, the Occupiers decided to abuse and torture Corinett as well as killing her if possible. A few soldiers captured her and abused her in an obscured place, torturing her violently until she is heavily wounded. She is then left to die, but was miraculously still alive after 20 hours when Spook found her, in spite of heavy bleeding and serious injuries. Spook rushed her to the hospital, where she is saved.
Coming out of the hospital, Spook informed Corinett that her family has moved. Travelling with him, she found her house already air bombed, possibly after her family's leave. Spook does not know where her family has went and decided to accompany and protect Corinett as both travel throughout the city to find the family.
Combat incapability
Corinett is not trained for combat, nor does she learn or want to ever hurt anyone. For this reason, Corinett has weak to almost zero self defenses, though she lives her life as if nothing unusual happened, leading to her family questioning her safety.
Owl vision
Although Corinett's eyes appear to be human, she actually has vision similar to those of an owl: she can enlarge her pupils to almost unnatural limit for humans, she has great night vision but is slightly colorblind, and has a great perception of height, weight and distance.
Physical durability
Corinett has a strong body that can tolerate many heavy injuries and blood loss, though she is not completely resistant to pain. She also has high survivability in hot and cold weather, and can last in extreme situations such as fire to an extent.
Family
Corinett's family consist of her parents, an older brother, her and a younger brother. They lived in a house in a neighborhood at the Hill, before the house was destroyed in an aerial attack. Corinett's family often became the subject of harassment.
Spook
Spook saved Corinett 20 hours after she was tortured by the Occupier military. For that, Corinett felt heavily indebted, though Spook guessed this out and tells her that repay to him is not necessary. When both eventually went on the travel throughout the city, Corinett developed romantic feelings for Spook, while Spook denies it, which often annoys her. Spook becomes caring for Corinett due to her being meek and childish.
Corinett is the first Art OC:
* with no real world nationality,
* to be based on an owl and an animal other than a cat (Nully's goat horns do not count),
* to be combat incapable, and
* to be initially designed with an eye color other than yellow.
* She is also the second art OC to be designed without an eyepatch, after Yoake.
Corinett's name, despite having been a normally used name (and also a family name), is actually given to the character because it is an anagram for the word 'contrite', which means a feeling of sorry and apology. This is due to Corinett and her people forced to feel sorry for 'just existing' based on racist standards, hence Corinett's ideal theme, "Pretence of Sorry".
Despite her jacket bearing the flag of the States of Palestine, Corinett is technically neutral in real world nationality as she represents various oppressed, discriminated or troubled races around the world.
* However, she might be depicted as a Palestinian in depictions of the real world.
Corinett is the only Art OC whose main lore is set in a completely fictional universe.
Corinett's family serves main dishes in a constant manner, dividing between meat, vegetables and additional food. They don't use the ingredients to cook variety of food, instead simply frying meat, washing and cutting vegetables and serve without any complex recipes.
Corinett is regarded as Spook's most proper pair compared to Yuki and Lily, as both also have a similar yet contrary character representation: Corinett is regarded as a beautiful flower in a wilted garden or machine graveyard, while Spook is a wilted flower or a metal flower in a beautiful flower garden, representing that Corinett tries to find happiness in a miserable world, while Spook can hardly let go of misery even in a peaceful environment.
