NOTE: The venue for this conference is roughly 1 hour away from the Stockholm city centre by public transport. It is therefore strongly recommended to book a room at the venue itself, or at least closer to it than Stockholm city centre. Below is a description of how to reach the venue from the airport and from the city centre.
From airport to Stockholm city centre
The most convenient airport for traveling to Stockholm is Arlanda Airport. From Arlanda, one can take an Arlanda Express train arriving in the city centre within 18 minutes. A cheaper alternative is taking one of many regular busses along the same route, with a typical travel time of 40 minutes. For specific departures and tickets, inform at the airport helpdesks.
From Stockholm city centre to venue
From Stockholm Central station, walk down into the metro station (T-centralen/Tunnelbana). Take either of the green or red metro lines southward to Slussen. From here it is a ~10 minute walk along Katarinavägen to the buss stop Glasbruksgatan. From here, take buss 25M towards Saltsjöbaden station. The venue is right at the station.
Both buss and metro traffic (as well as trams and commuter ferries) are handled by SL. Single tickets can be purchased when entering buss and metro by scanning your bankcard. Alternatively, you can buy tickets in the SL app. Note that Sweden is not very cash friendly, which also holds for public transport!
Taxi
As in most places, one should be cautious to hop in the first taxi that shows up. General advice for taking a taxi from the central station, as well as recommended taxi companies, can be found here.
Participants are advised to book their accommodation at the venue at a reduced price, through the registration portal. Should you choose to book your accommodation elsewhere, you can look for options here.
