What: Cleaning and maintenance of the parks, window washing, alley reorganizing, graffiti removal, gardening, re-cycling and more.
Why: Its a great feeling to see the neighborhood we frequent looking clean and knowing that you help make that happen. There may or may not be donuts and who can say no to donuts?!

What: Join in the fun of preparing plant beds, planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting.
Why: Seattle Tilth is a nonprofit educational organization that inspires and educates people to safeguard our natural resource while building an equitable and sustainable local food system.
When: August 6th, 2017
What: Come experience the feeling of community, peace, music and the sight of a thousand lantern drifting on the lake.
Why: Gather at Green Lake for the annual lantern floating ceremony that honors the victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and all victims of war.

What: This is a hands-on kitchen opportunity. Come prepared to chop, stir and get a little messy. Guided by FareStart's trained chef so cooking skills are not required but participants should be comfortable with using knives and other kitchen equipment.
Why: FareStart has served over 6 million meals to disadvantaged men, women and children.
When: October 26th to 29th, 2017
What: Volunteer at the King County Health Clinic. The clinic provided free healthcare to over 11,900 patients last year.
Why: The clinic provides underprivileged community who might not be able to afford healthcare. People can get dental care, eye glasses, shoes and much more!
