October 2021, "Oasis of Dance" Showcase
A Delightful Blend of Music and Dance from a Variety of Cultures

This Event was Hosted by
Duncaster Retirement Community,
Bloomfield CT

A New Milestone for Our Dance Troupe:

The opportunity we were looking for came our way, and we made arrangements for our first major production!

Our hosts had built up the excitement for our show in the days and weeks beforehand. The auditorium was packed, with very few empty seats to spare.

After a warm-up demo and introduction, we performed a variety of troupe dances, solos, and a duet,  featuring Classic Rock, Arabic Pop, and Classic Bellydance music and moves harmoniously synchronized with long flowing veils, coined hip scarves, zils, fluttering fan veils, gypsy skirts, and a lot of costume changes! For a change of "scenery," we included a Hawaiian Hula dance routine, much to the delight of our audience.

With the combined efforts, resources, and talents of our dancers and supporting crew, we overcame a few technical glitches and had a successful program. In the days following the show, we received much positive feedback from the event coordinators and residents.

Appreciative residents filled the auditorium at Duncaster, and our dancers filled the room with music and motion.

August 2021, Hebron Day

Burnt Hill Park, Hebron CT.

We return to Hebron, CT, for another outdoor performance -- this time in the shade of the Pavilion on a hot, sunny Saturday afternoon.

"Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water"

One might think we had gotten together and planned our outfits and fans ahead of time to express a theme, but no.
Believe it or not, this color scheme is a serendipitous coincidence.
