Genre: Seram
Rating: 4/5
Alhamdulillah, bagi saya buku ni okay la, not bad. It's a fun read. Saya suka bila rasa excited nak tau apa yang akan berlaku seterusnya, etc memang saspen gila la. A page turner indeed hehe.
Ending dia pun ok. So, saya recommend buku ni pada sesiapa yang sukakan benda benda yang mysterious, related to problem solvings, haa gitu.
Kay tu saja hehe.

Tajuk Buku: KL Noir: Red
Penulis: various writers
Rating: 4/5
KL Noir -- Red. I first caught sights of them on the hand of a fellow classmate so I had a look and ooo dark, dark stories. Which aren't usually my type of reads. But I picked it up anyway at a bookstore. I was entranced by the cover and a whole new genre waiting to be discovered, in my part.
When I first started, I thought I'm not going to like the book that much but oh boy, was I wrong.
The book consists of 15 short stories by different authors and my favourite among these is Vanished by Khairulnizam Bakeri. I like the significance of fate's role in connecting the characters.
Overall, it's difficult to sum up the whole book but all stories are different and unique in its own way but binds together in like, under a similar genre, and I really enjoyed reading them and appreciate the subtle messages and reflections of Malaysia's society woven in the stories.
Ain't giving any spoilers. Go pick up the book! It's worth the read ;) and that's coming from someone who generally wince at taboo issues.
P/s: Even got myself the second book! muahaha

Book Title: Eleanor & Park
Author: Rainbow Rowell
Rating: 4/5
During the first couple of pages (maybe even chapters), I wasn't actually really interested and constantly wondered why everyone is so hooked up with this book! but honestly it wasn't them to be blame because this type of reads isn't exactly my kind of genre.
But then, miraculously, I started to become engaged when the relationship between Eleanor and Park starts to develop which stirs all kinds of emotions and OH THE TENSION! The squirming, the pause-to-take-a-breath moments as I read their story. Gosh~~
However towards the end, I started to realise the reality of first loves in real life and was quite 'meh' with the ending. It's a good way to end it though.
Overall, it is a fantastic, warm-in-the-tummy kind of read! Anyone looking for leisurely reads or into innocent romance, this might be what you're looking for! I commited myself to this book till the very end as I feel like it's one of those books where they prompt you to finish it -- right on the spot!
