Language service is a program executed by 8th grader students of Brighton JHS Depok in cooperation with Rumah Baca Welcome Friends (ig: @welcomefriends.id). 

Students taught Panti Asuhan Prailu, Nusa Tenggara Timur, from March to May 2024.

Students volunteered themselves to teach English and Literacy to the orphan. The kids in the orphanage are Elementary to High School students. 

Students made their own material and role, so that each student got the opportunity to experience the sensation of teaching, adjusting, reflecting, and adapting.

In volunteering, students are selected based on their essays in filling out the Google form. Once the teacher considered it enough. The students were briefed to know the theme and the way to teach. 

Now, the community is developing to a bigger community name Komunitas Belajar dan Mengajar to expand the participants and open to any support for both the community and the children in NTT.
