Educational Model
As a part of its mission
Tec has restructured its learning process to develop your values, attitudes, and abilities as a student.
Close to 1,300 professors (holding master's degrees or higher) provide an innovative and student-centered educational model that:
Advocates self-study
Cultivates collaborative learning through problem-based learning and case studies.
Gives students access to international information banks and networks.
Exposes students to research and develop projects in manufacturing, automation, biotechnology, and more — especially at the graduate level.
At Tec, you will choose from a list of courses taught in English or in Spanish. In order for you to take classes in Spanish, you must have an advanced language proficiency: the Spanish Placement Test you will do before your arrival will indicate your level.
As an international student, you can select courses from different study areas in order to fulfill your academic needs and earn credits that contribute towards your degree program in your home university.
In addition to the regular classes, you will also be able to choose exclusive courses, such as Mexican Culture, Business in Mexico, Spanish as a second language, etc.
