What does AMI stand for?
AMI is an official student group at Tec with the purpose of supporting and integrating exchange students who arrive at campus Querétaro. This is accomplished by linking Mexican and international undergraduates through different trips and activities during the semester, making a deeper cultural exchange and creating an unforgettable experience.
Mexican Sibling Program
Arriving in a new country brings out a lot of different questions and emotions, that is why in this program we look to handle every single one of them. International students and local Tec students are asked to fill out a survey with some of their personal information, spoken languages, hobbies, and more. Based on their responses, a one-on-one match is made and both are invited to get in touch so they can be companions and serve as a support network during the semester.

Trips and Activities
Querétaro, the heart of Mexico, is a unique city surrounded by beautiful places and incredible activities. Depending on the season, some of the trips AMI recommends include, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and Peña de Bernal. Also, some of the activities that are made during the semester are Trivia Nights, Movie Nights, and Board Games Day.
