Composers have been fascinated with space for centuries. Join the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in a concert curated to explore the vast beyond while learning of the elements behind some of the most famous pieces in classical music. This concert, written for the upper elementary and middle school audience, touches on standards in Music and Science.

Orbiting creativity with Midtown HS

Midtown HS Orchestra filmed and dramatized the quartet of astronauts featured in this concert's program. Midtown students designed the film effects, composed original music, and worked collaboratively on this community project with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Special thanks to this creative team!
