What is Picture-in-Picture?

Picture-in-picture allows you to add an additional image or video to an existing video clip or image, so both appear at the same time. This can help add additional visuals to emphasize or demonstrate information. You can also add pre-recorded presentation slides or screencasts as a video within your video.

Using Picture-in-Picture

• Select the extra picture or video you want to have appear during your video clip using the Media Browser.
• Drag the picture or video above the clip you want it to appear in. It should appear in a track above your original clip.
• You can move the new video or picture that will appear within the original clip to the desired position by using the Preview Monitor and moving it where you want it to appear.
• You can resize the new video or picture in the Preview Monitor by selecting it and dragging the corners in to make it smaller and out to make it larger.
