Featured is a ceramic statue slipped and glazed in a way that creates a polished black coat with a hint of gray marble near its base. The piece was meant to deconstruct modern domestic life and the constructs associated with it. The figure radiates confidence through holding her head high with her hands rather than them being occupied with a basin.
