The term “streaming” is a concept widely known and used nowadays. And it basically means any piece of content delivered by the internet to smart devices, played back in real time. This means the media content can be either recorded or live.
In this digital era, Millennials and Gen Z are engaged into two major activities that the word often refers to. First is “streaming” as in watching movies. And second is “streaming” as in having people watch you do something live.

This first one often refers to recorded media content that are sent to various online platforms for public consumption.

These channels enable people to watch their favorite shows or movies, at the comforts of their homes. No need for tickets and cinemas, just a fast and reliable internet so that there will be no buffering moments in between your stream.
Live Streaming
This is most popular for gamers and vloggers who livestream their gaming in action and other vlog content. A lot of Filipinos have earned huge sum of money and followers via streaming their activities.
These include gamers such as ChoOxTV, Akosi Dogie, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Dexie Diaz, Moymoy Palaboy, Megan Young, and Biancake. Added to these are famous vloggers Cong TV, Ivana Alawi, Alex Gonzaga, Guerrero Siblings, and even the show Raffy Tulfo in Action.
Of course, these famous personalities do this as their way to showcase their pieces of art, interact with their wide audience, and even help other people from the benefits gained afterwards.
