Our next Spring Festival will be on 

the 2nd of September 2023

Hello to everyone interested in our annual Spring Festival! 

We are exceptionally excited to welcome you to our church fundraiser and look forward to a day of fun and fellowship. 

History and Purpose: 

Many of you might  remember our Spring Festival as the Frühlingsfest, since many of our congregation members are German speaking. 

The purpose of our Festival is to foster fellowship. Not just within our congregation, but also within our community. Secondarily, the funds raised on the day are directed towards sustaining our congregation.

Coffee & Cake Stand and Book stand and Plant and Crafts stand:

For those who want a quieter environment, join us at our Coffee and Cake stand. Second hand books are also available to be bought or read. We also hope to sell freshly cut flowers and plants in addition of hand made crafts.

For the kids:

Games and Jumping Castles: We will have entertainment for the kids available.

For the Youth:

We will have scheduled activities: 

10:45 Egg and spoon races

11:30 Sack races

12:15 Blind Guides

13:00 Tug of War

Food:

A variety of delicious food will be available on the day, boasting a Sausage stand, Fresh meat table, Braai stand and African stand.

Drinks:

There will be a serving a variety of beverages along with beer and wine as well. 

Our entrance fee is R10.

Beagle Watch Car guards will also be catered for.

Live Music :

Last Year we were entertained with a bit of Live Jazz Music from Thando Skenjana. (Find him on Facebook under PeecheeMusic).

Activities:

Tombola:   For those who don't want to leave the day empty handed, we have a wonderful tombola, filled with various prizes to be won. These prizes vary from chocolates and sweets to essential household items. 

Raffles:       In the weeks preceding the event, we will distribute raffle tickets.  

The Raffle prizes are as follows:

1st Prize: Vacation at Sanbonani valued at about R13 000 

(3 Bedroom self-catering unit; dates: 17-24 November 2023)

2nd Prize: Hisense  139cm (55")  Smart QD Uled  TV (Valued at R12 000)

3rd Prize: R10 000 Builders Warehouse gift voucher.

4th Prize: Avon cosmetic hamper (Valued at R3000)

5th Prize: Various O'Connell and RARA Wines (Valued at about R1000)

At 3pm the prizes will be drawn at the Spring Festival
