ESOL History (Life in the UK)

We offer an ESOL History course that helps prepare people to sit the Life in the UK Nationality Test and they do practice papers in this course as well. This course is for learners whose English Skills are at Entry 2 or above. We invite interested people in for a tutor interview to assess their current levels, though some may have recent certificates at Entry 2 ESOL or higher to show their level. The course is fully-funded and usually runs 1 session a week for 10 weeks.

The course itself is non-accredited and it doesn’t include a live exam booking. It is up to learners to arrange the tests for themselves as and when they feel ready after the course.

We do not have an ESOL History course for people to join at present but, if there is group of people interested, we can set a course up for them.

If you would like to refer anyone to us, our contact details are:

Email: adulteducationadmin@hartlepool.gov.uk

Tel. Number: 01429 868616

We will then add them to our interest list for ESOL History and contact them once a course is available.
