ARC Cards

Asylum Registration Cards

Often called "ARC Cards", Application Registration Cards are ID cards given to asylum seekers in the UK to use as ID while their claim is pending with the Home Office.

This ID can be used for the same purposes as other forms of ID, such as for proving your name and age, your immigration status, and your permission to work.

If you haven't received your ARC Card yet, there are a couple of ways to resolve this.

If you have a tracking number for the delivery of it, you can use the Home Office's ARC enquiry form.

If you never received a tracking number for it to be delivered, you should contact your legal representative. They can then contact the decision making unit handling your case.

More information about ARC Cards can be found here on the UK government's website.

In the meantime, you can usually use your asylum support letter from the Home Office that shows your name and address on it to prove your identity and your address.
