The rise of computer technology and the increasing demand for people to be extremely productive has slowly taken their minds away from the beauty of nature. It has become a luxury and elusive reality for one to be connected with nature. People don’t need to look further to experience biology, says student Steven Rindner.

From a person’s day to day activities, to the smallest of details about living organisms, biology thrives and affects the way people live. The current world isn’t one that can do without food. Every living person, animal, plant needs food. All three live on oxygen, food, water, and sunlight to stay fed and healthy.

The current world also isn’t free from illnesses. Through biology and the fields of biologics and biotechnology, the origination of products to enhance human lives through prevention of diseases, illnesses, and viruses is made possible. Allergy shots, vaccines, and medical tests to check the blood for different agents all make living and understanding of the science and sensations experienced by the human body a lot better and easier. Biological products made from an array of natural human and animal cells, including microorganisms known as biologics help in diagnosing and preventing illnesses and diseases.

An individual’s daily choices must be driven by their desire to keep the environment healing and thriving. Stephen Rindner believes that people are trying to be more informed on the science that goes into their homes and belongings. For instance, more and more people are investing in solar power resources to slow down fossil fuel emissions and making more informed choices on what they consume and how they dispose waste.
