Stephanie Porter

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Porter and I am currently studying at Trinity Christian College to receive my Bachelors in Elementary Education (grades 1-6). I grew up in Elmhurst, IL but have since then moved to Addison, IL. I began my college education at Northern Illinois University, but quickly realized it was not the school for me. I transferred back home and began attending College of DuPage. I received my associates degree from COD and I am now in the Adult Studies program here at Trinity! I have had a love for working with children for as long as I can remember. It started out when I would visit my mom, who was a preschool teacher, at work. I loved going to visit her and spend time with the children. It was around that time when I knew I wanted to be a teacher as well.
