In this lesson, students will play an energetic VR game called “Beat it with your sabers”. The game engages the whole body through the use of both VR controllers. Students will have to listen to and follow the instructions learning naturally to form the imperative forms of verbs. They also will learn some names of shapes, colours, body parts and movement verbs. The whole lesson is set in a modern, dynamic and genuine environment where students take action! A lot of action!

In this lesson, students are invited to visit London using VR goggles. They are invited to walk along the streets of London to see and listen about famous landmarks. Students read a message, complete a crossword and reply to the message describing what they saw in London.

In this lesson, we are inviting dinosaurs to our classroom and bringing them to life to practise English. The scenario can go in two different ways! Students can either set off on a scavenger hunt and take photos of dinos hiding in particular places in the classroom, or spend their class time (or homework time) doing internet research and then present to the class information found on a chosen dinosaur. Both scenarios complement each other and can be done in two different lessons or one after another.

In this lesson, students will fulfil their fantasy of flying on a dragon. They will learn or revise how to form positive sentences in the Present Continuous to talk about actions happening while flying the dragon. They will practise asking and answering “Yes/No” questions in the Present Continuous tense as well as get involved with a project to label some body parts of a dragon and create its (or maybe his/her) personal file.

This is a simple (in its form) revision lesson. Thanks to the storytelling approach students take on the role of super detectives with some really amazing powers in error hunting. We encourage them to live this fantasy and in the meantime improve their grammar accuracy. This lesson focuses on the Present Perfect tense, but the whole scenario along with the story can be easily applied to any language level and any grammar.

This lesson follows a simple game design. It includes some drama performances and a lot of writing and speaking. Students will practise making positive sentences in Present Continuous. They will take on the role of professional theatre or film actors. They will be photographed to make expectations and guesses about classmates’ actions. But what were they really doing? The truth is soon to be revealed!
This is a GAMIFICATION / STORYTELLING lesson
In this lesson, students are invited to explore some ancient artefacts in the AR environment. They will learn about the country of their origin, their age, and their purpose. Students will first gather some information about certain artefacts individually. Next, they will work in pairs to exchange information about the artefacts they discovered. They will practise asking and answering questions using the passive voice in an information gap-type activity. Once they share and exchange information about artefacts, they will create a mindmap about an artefact that they found most interesting.

Students will take a relaxing stroll through an enchanted wonderland full of magical colours, shining fireflies, strange vehicles, friendly dragons, and magical portals that lead to other worlds. The first part of the scenario sets the scene and focuses on learning the vocabulary and grammar needed for the second part in which students write a short narrative inspired by the walk in the magical VR environment. All to experience, fully understand and practise the Past Continuous to re-tell the story like a pro!

This lesson is based on Edu-Arctic2 project results (project financed by EEA Grants). It includes some interesting facts about polar dogs, their origin, characteristics, habitat, habits, threats to some species, and ways they interact with humans. The students will get information from two different sources. The first is the VR 360-degree film and the second one is a dialogue about sled dogs. The students will have to work in teams and combine all pieces of knowledge to learn as much as possible about polar dogs and their lives.

The lesson is based on Adam Savage’s workshop VR app. Adam Savage is a special effects expert who hosted the famous Discovery Channel science entertainment television program called MythBusters. His workshop is full of incredible tools, special machines, unusual pieces of furniture, strange objects and props from some famous movies. The students will walk around the workshop and search for seven mystery objects. Will they find them all? Only if they work as a team, listen to each other and communicate the instructions clearly enough.

At the end they are invited to play Train Your Brain memory game and practise the target vocabulary while pretending to be Robinson. Students learn how to escape a tsunami wave, listening to instructions and following them in first-person view. They also have a chance to review names of other natural disasters.
