August 17 2019 - Meetup - "Get Started with Artificial Intelligence! An activity for the whole family" - Bring the whole family to this Get Started with AI! event Saturday, 8/17, from 3:30-5:30PM in Santa Clara. The event is free but please register so that we know how many attendees to expect. We will start with our hosts (Sindhu and I) giving an introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and showing some examples of what kids can build with AI. Next, we will show some projects that you can try during the event to build AI programs to Guess a Person's Mood. We will have some laptops to show the projects but you can also bring your own laptop and try it out for yourself! The projects are most suitable for kids 9 years and older. They do not need to know any programming, but if they do, they can use it with the activity.
