Factorial ANOVA

Description: Factorial ANOVA is used to test the relationship between two or more independent variables and a single dependent measure. The dependent measure is assumed continuous, whereas the independent variables are categorical. In addition to testing the main effects of each independent variable in the model, factorial ANOVA incorporates tests of interaction effects that allow researchers to test for evidence of statistical moderation. The model makes standard assumptions concerning independence of observations, normality, and homoskedasticity.
