Mean, Median, Mode

Mean

The mean is the average of a set of values. It is calculated by adding all of the values and dividing the sum of the values with the number of values there are.

Median

The median is the middle point in a set of values. At this midpoint half of the values fall below the median and half of the values fall above the median. To find the median list the values in order. The median is the middlemost score. If the number of scores is even, the median is the mean of the middle two values.

Mode

The mode is the value that occurs most often in a set of values. To find the mode, tally the number of times each value occurs.
