The Data set that was used to determine the f score is a faux data set, regarding the Summit Learning LMS, where students were divided into three groups: those who were in Summit Learning for one year, two to three years, or four or more years. The ANOVA test is conducted to determine whether a significant difference exists between or among the aforementioned groups. The data set can be seen below.
The mean scores represent the variance between and within groups, and those two values are divided to get the f score. Because the significance is less than .05, there is a significant difference between at least two groups.
