SAINTS WAY
A major highlight in St Austell Running Club’s calendar is the Saints Way Social Run from Padstow to Fowey. This is something different from normal training or racing. It gives a chance to run socially and chat with other club members and whilst it does involve running, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with regular stops for refreshment. GRIBBIN 10K
The Gribbin 10K has been arranged for Thursday 27th June, at 19:00.
This is a race which we have set up to replace Boconnoc (which is now being run by East Cornwall Harriers). It is a lovely but quite tough 10k trail race starting at Menabilly, and running a figure of 8 route, towards Lankelly then around Gribbin Head ending at Menabilly House.
In order to do this, we would really need help from our members, by way of Marshalls on the night. This is a great way to take part in the spirit of running, as the cheering and support given to the runners is such a huge boost.
If you are able to give up an evening to help and support, this would be very much appreciated.
